Dentist.pngYour dentist is a healthcare practitioner that specialises in helping you ensure you maintain healthy teeth and gums, and providing treatment when necessary and can be found locally throughout Salford. Your dentist will decide how often they need to see you based on the condition of your mouth, teeth and gums. If you have no current problems, your dentist might not need to see you for up to two years.

From June 8, dental practices will be open and resuming services. Practices will be prioritising patients with the most urgent need. If you need help from a dentist:

  • contact your practice by phone or email
  • you will be given advice or an appointment if appropriate
  • for urgent dental care, you can also use the NHS 111 online service

Please do not visit the practice unless you have been advised to do so. This will ensure the practice can continue to provide essential care safely.

For details of local dentists, including opening hours, contact details, and details of the services they provide visit our page where you can find your closest local dentists, doctors and pharmacies.
