Different countries have different entry requirements, so if you've not yet had any of your COVID-19 jabs, including your booster, now is the time to get them.

Mainland Spain, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Ibiza, Majorca, Menorca and the USA are some of the destinations that don’t allow unvaccinated UK tourists to enter.

It’s easy to organise a COVID-19 vaccination appointment in Salford; up to date details can be found here. To make a booking, go online or if you prefer, there are walk-in clinics, when you are out and about getting your Factor 50.

If you are over 18, you need to have a minimum 8-week gap between 1st and 2nd dose and a minimum 13-week gap for the booster, which completes the course. Some countries insist on a booster vaccination if you had your 2nd dose more than 270 days ago.

You can use the UK’s proof of COVID-19 recovery and vaccination record to demonstrate your vaccination record when entering countries.
Rules may change with very little warning, so check the FCO site Foreign travel advice.

If you need assistance, call our great team on the Spirit of Salford helpline. They won’t be able to sort out your holiday wardrobe, but they can help with vaccination clinic details.
Call Monday to Friday from 08.30am to 4.30pm on 0800 952 1000.

Entry requirements for countries may change with very little notice, so whether it’s destination beach, city break culture or fun in the sun, plan ahead, don’t get caught out, get vaccinated today.
