What is a 'vulnerable group'?
If someone is classed to be vulnerable, it tends to mean they need a bit of extra help to live their lives. For example, if they have dementia, a severe mental illness, or are asylum seekers and may need interpretors.
There are six standards within the Vulnerable Groups domain. The aim is to reduce the variation between practices so, no matter which GP practice you go to in Salford, you know your GP is doing things in the best way.
